Ruh y Alma is a musical duo that merges the sounds of sitar, piano, and world music beats. Drawing from their cultural heritages and life experiences, Sasha Bayan and William Cenoté craft compositions and improvisations inspired by Indian, Middle Eastern, and Latin music traditions. Central to their creative process is the belief in music’s therapeutic power, aiming to bring listeners along a journey of self-discovery and healing.

Sasha Bayan is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist and composer from the Bay Area. His music blends global influences with his classical training, from classically-inspired sitar to Brazilian guitar. Sasha's poignant songwriting is showcased in his album "enough". As the bandleader of Indian fusion music group High Tide, he merges diverse musical styles, enhancing his unique sound.
william cenote
William Cenote, based in the San Francisco Bay area, is the creator and performer behind the Luminescent Grand, the world's first synesthetic grand piano. With a degree in audio engineering, he's not only a seasoned performer but also a skilled composer and producer. His capabilities extend to live-stream entertainment, session piano recordings, audio production, and film scoring, adeptly blending technical skills with innovative musical expression.
